Creating a backyard habitat goes hand-in-hand with the upcoming Great Backyard Bird Count next month and can be used as part of your homeschooling science curriculum, classroom project or simply as a family fun project.
The National Wildlife Federation has a great program where you can create a backyard habitat for wildlife and have it certified as well.
